of screaming and panic attacks
haha you know your life is seriously boring when most of your blogposts are about one thing in your life. oops xD

went on the high ropes course with the team today. ZOMG. it looked relatively easy and un-scary from the ground- or so i thought. i mean like, you just had to grab on to the ropes like your life depends on it and then moving across the obstacles shouldnt be a problem, right? WRONG.

climbing up the tower was scary enough already man. you would think that it was just climbing up a ladder. somehow, it gets REALLY high up, and you start feeling abit panicky. i mean, the whole structure was pretty see through. like you can see the ground from where ever you decided to stand. FREAKY. didnt help that it was half raining and everything was just so wet and slippery. the RJ ropes course is SO NOT EASY.

soo. bengoh decided to be the brave one and went first. i went next coz i couldnt stand to wait anymore and was freaking out by the second. so, better to get it done and over with right :D francis went next, so much for being scared >< still went across really quickly! jonsee was epic! haha. practically just half-ran-half-flew over all the elements. hard to believe that those two were actually saying they were abit scared before going -.-

haha next was claire. hey claire, if you see this, WELL DONE :D TOLD YOU THAT YOU COULD DO IT :D brave girl managed to pluck up the courage and made it all the way through the course! haha ziqi was awesome and managed to help claire through the course :D gracia did an awesome job! and joel too (: finished the course in no time :D

I SWEAR. having long limbs gives you an advantage in the high ropes course. you dont have to practically lunge from one place to another because you can actually REACH the ropes if you tried hard enough. seriously ><

haha despite all the screaming and yelling and freaking up while crossing, it really wasnt THAT bad. like once you got the general hang of it, it became SLIGHTLY more comfortable. of course, the safety rope helped LOADS. haha and even though the tower was freaky when we initially got up there (because of its see through floor), i tell you, after crossing those obstacles, the tower is like some safety ground for you to lie there and die.

then was abseilling! haha. and we realised that we actually trusted other people to belay us over trusting ourselves to lower ourselves down (at least for the girls). super freaky to start the abseil. but once you got used to it, it becomes really boring. more like "am i reaching soon? dangling up here is getting really tiring and boring." HAHA. wanted to scream the first 5m or so, but ran out of voice. not scary enough ><

then made an improvised stretcher! wonder if anyone took pictures.

lunch, then bengoh, gracia, joel, francis and i went to library to attempt to do research for the skit. haha after like idk how long of digressing and laughing at failed explorer's fate, we decide on one that got eaten (yes, EATEN, like munch munch) by the natives of NZ. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. talk about epic fail xD

today was fun :D and being scared and freaked out, really takes a whole lot of energy out of you. oh yeah, not to mention the involuntary trembling of legs while up there on the obstacles -.-

hopefully the skit goes well in nz (:

have you ever had the feeling where you're trying to tear down a wall on your side, but the other just builds it up again? ah well. maybe thats life.
